Back In August 2021 I’d traveled back to my home state of Massachusetts to intern with a family owned farm-to-doorstep delivery business in Western Mass. After a summer of driving to farm interviews and photographing their homesteads, I was asked by a friend and artistic mentor to take photographs for the first Stearn’s Farm CSA Cookbook “Eat Your Share.” It was a serendipitous challenge where I could bring all that I learned about food photography to a garden in my old neighborhood, 5 minutes from where I grew up in the north side of Framingham. The cookbook archives farm to table delicacies showcasing the garden’s vegetable CSA on your dinner table, from garlic scape recipes to notes on how to preserve the harvest for their members.
