Localizing agriculture is a spreading trend in the United States. In the summer of 2021, I organized an internship with a farm-to-doorstep family-owned and operated business based in Western Mass, Central Mass Locavores. Along with photographing produce and helping fulfill orders, I got to go rogue and visit these farmer partners during the week. The conversations had around their lifestyle, why local ag is important, and witnessing community in action was an experience I’ll never forget.
